European Global Summit for Cutting-Edge Medicine

Clinical Nanomedicine and Targeted Medicine - Witnessing
the Solutions and tackling the Hurdles of Nanomedicine
The Route from Nanoscience to Diagnosis, Therapy towards Precision Medicine

The European Foundation for Clinical Medicine (CLINAM) annually organizes the European & Global Summit for Cutting-Edge Medicine Conference and Exhibition. In the previous nine years, the CLINAM Summit grew to the largest in its field with 12 presenting Noble Laureates and more than 500 participants from academia, industry, regulatory authorities and policy from over 40 different countries in Europe and worldwide. The CLINAM Summit is today one of the most important marketplaces for scientific exchange and discussions of clinical, regulatory, political and ethical aspects in this field of cutting-edge medicine. The summit is presently the only place to meet the regulatory authorities from all continents to debate the needs of all stakeholders in the field.

In its 10th edition, CLINAM 10/2017 “Clinical Nanomedicine and Targeted Medicine – Witnessing the Solutions and tackling the Hurdles of Nanomedicine”, covers the interdisciplinary spectrum of Nanomedicine and Targeted Medicine. Based on recent groundbreaking achievements, the next meeting in May will focus on • cancer, • immunotherapy, and • the pathway to safe nanomedicines, to enable breakthroughs in successful clinical applications and • seeking a deeper understanding of interactions of medical nanomaterials with living organisms. Plenary sessions will highlight some of the last year’s most interest-charged fields. In addition, three Satellite Meetings are scheduled. As in its 9th edition, a special session may be devoted to “Advanced dendrimer-based results in medicine“, but we need to wait until the preliminary programme is released.
